The Wind Rises: Our Story

After the days given to finish this, I have finally completed my entry for "The Wind Rises Contest!" I have to say, after sketching a bit for a warm up and thinking a lot about how I would make this, I had a lot of fun with this. It's probably one of my best works! ^0^ Sure I had my moments of frustrations (darn hats and that canvas lol) but all and all, I really had too much fun drawing, coloring, and just making this in general!

This just made me more excited to see the movie, GAH young Jiro is too cute to be on screen I sware. XD But not only do I really want to see Jiro's determination and life-story, but I can't wait to see the relationship between he and his wife. Yes, there are moments where he does become very involved in his work, obessed at times maybe, but he still very much loved Nahoko. The 1-2 clips I saw just made me squeal in joy. And the fact that they were based on real people just makes itasfasafadffweasfa Miyazaki how u do awesomeness? :3 But I've taken up enough of everyone's time lol I hope you guys like!

P.S: Go see the other entries too! Everyone's is awesome and creative! X3

EDIT: With just an hour or two to spare, I decided to clean up a few of the colors in the clouds, fix a few lines, and add the paper plane because I felt that Nahoko's side felt a little empty without something in the sky (Besides the cloud lol)
